Proud of America

Auhtor's Note: I wrote about this because I am proud

of my country.

Our country is a very great unnoticed place. We have many things to offer. Being a patriot means that you are loyal to your country and don’t treat others how you wouldn’t want to be treated. I am proud of our country for everything they have done. Are you? The United States has a lot to offer, and I am proud to be a United States citizen.

Some big things that our country offers are freedom of speech and education. The education in our country has a lot to offer like private schools, public schools, home-schooled, and religious schools. This helps students that are in younger and older because people learn at different paces and that is what this system helps everyone involved with it. Freedom of speech is another big thing. Most countries don’t allow freedom of speech. Our great country though, allows us to have freedom of speech. If you lived in another country, and said you didn’t like the way the government was being run, then you if someone found out, you would mostly likely be arrested and sent to jail. Those are just two great reasons why our country is good.

The United States offers more than most countries. We have restaurant industries, automotive industries, sporting industries, and plenty more. These are all things people in our country like. Other countries don’t have these things. People don’t realize that countries aren’t as developed as the United States is. Our great country is being taken for granted and we don’t even realize it.  Industries in the United States are very good industries. This is a luxury for us. People eat at restaurants, buy cars, and go to a sporting event. These are all things that we take advantage of. Those are more reasons why our country is great.

Another thing is, is that you don’t have to be a certain religion. Most countries you have to be a certain religion. In the United States you are allowed to be any religion you want. People in other countries may be killed for what they believe in. The United States doesn’t allow this. That is just another reason why we are so good.

Overall, our country is a great place to be a part of and I am glad to be a part of our country. I’m proud to be a U.S. citizen. Are you proud?
